Distinctive Home Solutions, LLC was founded in 2013 by long time friends Sean Turner and Ryan Lowery. They both have many years of experience in the construction/property management field. They became friends while working at one of the largest property management companies in the Indy area. After many years of working together Sean decided to go try his hand in the remodel business while Ryan stayed and learned more about the business/financial side of property management. They still worked together on side projects frequently until they formed Distinctive. In 2013 they decided to work together again full time to create a company that would be a "One Stop Shop" for all their customers' home repair/remodel needs. They quickly grew their customer base through the reputation of high quality work, professionalism, and respect for their customers' needs. The business has grown every year since 2013, and both are excited for the future of Distinctive Home Solutions, LLC.
Ryan Lowery - Owner/Operator
Ryan Lowery is from Mt. Pleasant located in Central Michigan. He grew up helping his father work on jobs doing remodels and multiple facets of carpentry work. He also held jobs there building pole barns, bunker silos, and seamless guttering. He moved to Indianapolis in 2001, and got a job in apartment maintenance. Being a quick study he moved his way up within the company. He spent 12 years there and was a regional property manager when he left. He always kept his skills sharp by renovating his own house or working with Sean on nights and weekends. His strengths would include trim carpentry, structural carpentry, tile, and concrete finishing. When he's not working he enjoys golfing, woodworking, biking, running, and most outdoor activities. |
Sean Turner - Owner/Operator
Sean Turner is from Valparaiso located NW Indiana. He grew up working on his bicycles, cars, or anything he could get his hands on. He moved to Indianapolis in 2001, and got a job in apartment maintenance. After a couple years of this, he decided that he wanted to tackle more complex projects within the company. He quickly found himself working on building entry systems, high rise chiller systems, high voltage electricity, and much more. He then ventured out on his own doing residential repairs, remodels, and the occasional multi-family building repair. His strengths would include, structural framing, electricity, HVAC, and plumbing. When he's not working he enjoys golfing, his 2 Australian Shepherds, and restoring his Jeep Wrangler. |
